She is the singer of the cultured, the simple, the rich and the poor. Throughout generations, her fans were the entire Arab nation. She is the Diva of Arabic song, the Star of the East Om Kolthoum This set is a select art work of my oil paintings where embellishments and final touching took place and printed in photopolymer and relief, in 10 artistic works representing 10 of Om Kolthoum’s most popular and lovable songs to me. She was able to build her way through the crowd as she adopted a different method which extended to the heart, mind and soul of her fans through her songs. Her Songs are crammed with either Sufi, spiritual, sentimental or patriotic emotions and meanings. They are a mixture of elevated words, euphony and the magnificent performance of Om Kolthoum’s voice which still enunciates our feelings while expressing our joy and sorrow and shares with us each and every single memory in our lives. The print was made on a 280gm Arch paper with artistic measure of 31×17.5cms on a paper size of 57x38cms. The papers are signed and numbered from 1-100 and printed by the artist’s hand in 2009. |

إنها سيدة الغناء العربي، كوكب الشرق أم كلثوم لقد استطاعت أن تشق طريقها وسط الزحام الشديد فاتخذت لنفسها نهجا جديدا يصل إلى القلب والعقل والوجدان بأغانيها المفعمة بالأحاسيس والمعاني سواء الصوفية، أو الروحانية، أو العاطفية، أو الوطنية، حيث امتزج رُقي الكلمات وعذوبة اللحن مع روعة أداء صوت أم كلثوم الذي لا يزال ينطق بكل مشاعرنا فيعبر عن أفراحنا وأحزاننا ويشارك في كل ذكرى من ذكريات حياتنا هذه المجموعة هي عبارة عن مختارات من أعمالي الزيتية تم وضع بعض الإضافات واللمسات لها ثم طباعتها بطريقة الـ “فوتوبوليمير” والرليف (الطباعة الغائرة) في مجموعات من 10 أعمال فنية تمثل 10 من أكثر أغاني “السيدة أم كلثوم” شهرةً وقرباً إلى قلبي
تمت الطباعة على ورق آرش 280 غرام بقياس 57x38cm وقياس عمل فني 31×17.5cm وهي موقعة ومرقمة من 1 إلى 100 ومطبوعة بيد الفنان في 2009
